Innovative deep brain stimulation technology and precision mental illness diagnosis and treatment platform
Developing four innovative brain technologies: personalised brain lesion localisation; novel blood biomarker diagnostics; deep brain stimulation localisation with electric-field simulation; and Temporal Interference Brain Stimulation (TIBS).

Comprehensive Medical IoT-Integrated Care Platform for Neurological Diseases
A cross-disciplinary programme building an all-encompassing neurological care platform for migraine and dementia, uniting medical, engineering and information-technology expertise across NYCU and Taipei Veterans General Hospital. It introduces IoT-based care platforms for dementia and headache, a brain–computer interface healthcare platform, and early detection and diagnosis modules.
The laboratory also contributes to further programmes as co-investigator across
neuroimaging, sleep, genetics and clinical AI.
