Work with us
The laboratory has trained 27 researchers, clinicians and engineers — psychiatrists, occupational and respiratory therapists, and graduates of engineering, biotechnology and psychology.
Graduate students
Master’s and doctoral students enter through the Institute of Brain Science at NYCU. Projects span MRI, EEG, sleep physiology and ECG, and most students publish before graduating.
Clinician researchers
Psychiatrists, physiatrists and other clinicians join as doctoral students or research fellows while continuing clinical practice.
International applicants
The laboratory works in English and regularly hosts international students. NYCU admits through its international graduate programmes.
What we look for
Comfort with data and code matters more than a specific degree. Members have arrived from medicine, biomedical engineering, psychology, occupational and respiratory therapy, actuarial mathematics and medical informatics. Familiarity with MATLAB, Python or R helps; willingness to learn matters more.
How to apply
Write to Dr. Albert C. Yang with a CV, a short statement of research interest, and the modality you would like to work in — imaging, EEG, sleep, or signal analysis.
This page needs the current openings and the contact address you want used before it goes live.
